This guided relaxation helps to prepare you for a deep sleep or a refreshing nap. Beautiful sounds and images preoccupy your senses, allowing your nervous system to calm as the gentle guidance helps you put your worries on the back burner and give yourself a break.

 

WARNING: These VISUAL VACATIONS can take you to a place of deep relaxation, which can include sleep. Before watching and listening to them be sure that you are in a safe place to drift off. ‘TRAVEL TIPS’ SO YOU CAN GET THE MOST BENEFIT FROM YOUR RELAXATION VIDEO

  • Give yourself about 10 – 15 minutes free from distractions.
  • Do whatever you need in order to get comfortable, such as getting a cushion or blanket, and find a position where your body feels supported.
  • If your pets help you relax, include them.
  • If you can have some quiet time after, this will maximize your experience.
  • The best “guidance” is always your own! Trust your own relaxation process, if you are “guided” to ignore the instructions and just watch the images, please do so. Likewise, you might find your eyes closing…..
  • If you find your mind is wandering where you don’t want it to go, you can always come back to your breath and very gently emphasize your exhalation.
